Regional Insurance Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and oversee the Visiting Doctor Program, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all assigned activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with visiting doctors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate doctors’ schedules, clinic sessions, procedures, patient flow, and operational requirements with relevant departments.
  • Drive program growth and physician engagement by identifying opportunities to increase patient referrals, clinic utilization, and service volumes.
  • Monitor and follow up on doctor performance, targets, revenue, patient volumes, and program KPIs.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to develop and execute initiatives that support doctors’ visibility, patient acquisition, and program growth.
  • Ensure all physician-related requirements are communicated and coordinated effectively with Medical, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other supporting departments.
  • Identify operational challenges affecting visiting doctors or patient experience and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, dashboards, and business updates for management.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new visiting doctors, ensuring all required arrangements are completed before activation.
  • Monitor physician satisfaction and continuously identify opportunities to improve the doctor and patient experience.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable hospital policies, medical governance requirements, and program procedures.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor follow-up to identify opportunities for expanding the visiting doctor portfolio and services.
  • Contribute to the development of annual plans, budgets, targets, and growth initiatives for the Visiting Doctor Program.

 

Requirements:

  • Medical background: Physician / Pharmacist / Dentist
  • Previous experience in Medical Management, Healthcare, or Business Development is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong business development and networking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and healthcare providers
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel between different locations when needed
